Ok mate. Will pop over if you feed and water me. How did you support the camera... Got a tripod?

Yes, I have a tripod....but it it not as big as yours (ok, I need to refrain from more infantile innuendo!), so the angle is not quite right (must...refrain!!!). Food and water always on tap :-)

Unlucky with the fennel seeds Alchy! I've had a few doh moments like that myself. Hopefully they will have lost their crunch by the time you reheat it! Thanks for taking the time to video it

Thanks for placing the prominent link to this forum, in your video, Alchy
PS: there aren't too many things that I miss about the UK (curries, real ale and long, lazy, summer evenings by the river, are some of them....oh, and family, of course!) but those tits twittering in the background (the birds, I mean!) are also quite special....a most beautiful sound and ambience....now back on topic, chaps!

No problem CA. We do seem to be blessed with a lot of our feathered friends this year and they like to gently wake you around 4am with their dawn chorus!
To bring this all to a conclusion, I followed TT's advice with the leftover tomatoes and made a tomato, onion, spinach and cheese omelette for breakfast, which was a very nice way to start the day. The tomatoes tasted great, which is a testament to Lidl's own brand ones above.

OK, so "later this week" turned into today's lunch, as it was sitting in the fridge and calling my name. I thought it was excellent, the tomatoes work well served whole, ensuring they did not take over the flavour of the sauce. I would rate this one a 9/10 - well done TT.
Re: TikkaTom's Chicken Tawa
That looks really good.
I'm confused by what 'tawa' means on a menu. The tawa is a flat pan, but no way is a nice rich sauce like that cooked in a flat pan. Can anyone help explain?

If I publish an e-book, please kill me.

Serve on a sizzling tawa or griddle with a sprinkle of finely chopped coriander

Re: TikkaTom's Chicken Tawa
In my local restaurant they cook and serve the curry on a tawa hence the name. It's more domed than a standard flat tawa so seems to work!
