What a fantastic spread CA, looks absolutely delicious. I'm equally impressed by your homebrew, did you go the full grain & mash method ?

Saturday night is still curry night here but I usually have my Vindaloo & my wife a Jalfrezi.

Thanks pauly, I was happy with the outcome, as were our guests (thankfully!).

Glad to hear that you're still regularly cooking curries.....must be just you and I, then?.......

I've only recently started brewing my own beer. So far, I'm still on (Coopers) kits. They produce decent enough beer, to my tastes (and pocket!). I've just graduated to a partial-mash batch (purchased from the local homebrew store), then I'll be on to full-mash (which, as you'll know, requires a little more kit). I'm really enjoying it. I can see strong similarities between home brewing issues (i.e. trying to replicate your favourite beers) and home curry cooking issues (i.e. trying to replicate your favourite curries).....

I brewed my own for years with full mash, it produces the best quality beer but you do need a fair bit of equipment. Since Brexit we're struggling to find much UK beer over here so I might have to start brewing again. A lot of the Irish craft beer is foul  My eldest son signed me up for a three month trial membership of a beer club, they send you a random selection of different beers every month, one of the one's from last month proudly boasted of " black pepper, coriander & orange peel " in their IPA !! Tasted as it sounds : undrinkable.

Glad to hear your son & girlfriend liked the curries, a lot of time & effort went into making that lot.

Simply amazing Cory Ander!

The wife and I took our niece and intended out for curry whilst he was over from America. They have 'curries' over there but he is blown over by our BIR curries.

I feel America is ripe for the taking, another call "The British are Coming" is needed! :yahoo:

Thanks, thebluebaron 8-)

Maybe others have some photos of their efforts (or of their takeaway BIR curries) that they can also share?........
