Trio Of Chicken

Post by Bandit »

Hi All,

Compromise was required when we knew that we where going to have a scorching May Bank Holiday, yes remember this all you none UK residents we do occasionally have good weather here, anyway normal Curry cooking fix for Saturday night was agreed which consisted of a Madras and a Dhansak.

BBQ for Mrs B on Sunday & Monday, mmm BBQ Mrs B thinks burgers, sausages, chicken wings, pork belly slices, salad etc, I automatically think, Tandoori Chicken, Hariyali Chicken and Chicken Tikka as there is always charcoal left to burn out to nothing, what a waste I think, prep in the morning and suprise on her face when she returns from work at mid-day, so here is my Trio of Chicken not to waste the hot embers of the BBQ, L to R, Hariyali Chicken, Tandoori Chicken & Chicken Tikka, all served with the normal accompaniments, dips, salad, etc

Well you have to make use of the resources and stock up the freezer when you can even though I'm supposed to be reducing the contents the only downside was I didn't have time to make Lamb Kofta Kebabs, never mind there is always a next time.

We did have all the normal burgers, sausages etc which was great and very nice but didn't bother taking any pictures of that as this is a BIR CURRY FORUM.

Cheers Bandit

The best day of the week to prepare onions for a base gravy is a Fryday 8-)

I am jealous. I spent our yearly sunny day inside in a room with no windows. Come rain or shine I will be having a nice chicken pathia on Friday to celebrate the end of the week.
