Asked my wife what kind of curry she fancied this weekend.
"Garlic chilli, same as last weekend, but with tandoori lamb strips instead of chicken, please"
Decided to give this a try.
Lamb was sliced while frozen. Marinaded for 2 days
Slightly chewy with 5 min fry in 1cm oil. Perfect with 11 min fry. Quickest lamb I have ever cooked.
It got a "Perfect 10/10"

Looks great Charlie - good thin strips achieved while nearly frozen. What cut of lamb is that please?

Re: Tandoori Lamb Strips
Thanks, SF.
Got them from Aldi.
£2.50 for a 250g pack.
Perhaps should have used them by now, but they are still nice and fresh.

That's a delicious looking meal Charlie, and it's refreshing to see something a little different.
Tandoori/Tikka Lamb is something I've shyed away from, because of the toughness issue. Might have to investigate.

Re: Tandoori Lamb Strips
Thanks Alex & RS.
Hope you give this a try. Doubt if you will be disappointed.
I have used this lamb for over a year now and it has always taken around 2 hours before it is edible precooking it in quite small pieces. Perhaps ignore the cooking instructions on the packet.
I have never cooked lamb quicker.
Fried it because it was Baltic here. No way was I was going to the bbq. Snow, sleet, hail rain. So perhaps it wasn't "Tandoori" as such, but neither is Tandoori done in an electric oven. It was CA Tandoori Paste, if that counts?
Would be interested if anyone gives it a go on a bbq, grill, tandoor, but think it might dry out due to its size and more extreme heat. It was certainly OK fried. Both the 5 min and 11 min batches all disappeared.
I will have to do this again. So I am told.
